<p>The Department of Developmental Services located at Templeton Community Services (TCS) is seeking qualified candidates for the Rehabilitation Counselor C position, who will provide direct services for an assigned caseload.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):</p> <ul> <li>Provides leadership and oversight to the TCS Community Based Day Services (CBDS) Program. </li><li>Assists and provides guidance to the CBDS staff (Vocational Instructor A/B, Vocational Instructor C, Rehabilitation Counselor A/B and Habilitation Coordinator A/B) regarding activity planning, individual concerns, documentation requirements, and staffing/scheduling. Coordinates and oversees individualized employment programs. </li><li>Supervises a team of Vocational Instructors assigned to the CBDS and individualized employment programs. </li><li>Potential candidates must have the ability to compile data, produce daily written documentation, file required reports, while placing an emphasis on the development of meaningful day and employment supports. </li><li>The candidate will actively participate in department-related projects and activities, are responsible for the case management and career development of individuals receiving Day and Employment Support Services and must have the ability to communicate professionally and be sensitive to the social/emotional needs of individuals being served at TCS. </li><li>This position supervises a team of Vocational Instructors and will perform related work as required. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Medication Administration Program (MAP) certified preferred but not required. </li></ul> <p>Please Note:</p> <p>This position is located in Baldwinville, MA</p> <p>Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm</p> <p>Days Off: Sunday/Saturday</p> <p>Flexibility required to meet needs of the program.</p> <p>About the Department of Developmental Services:</p> <p>The mission of the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is to create innovative and genuine opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder to participate fully and contribute meaningfully to their communities as valued members. Education toward a degree will be prorated on the basis of the proportion of the requirements actually completed. </li></ul> <p>Salary placement is determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate's years of directly related experience and education, and alignment with our internal compensation structure as set forth by the Human Resources Division's Hiring Guidelines.
