<p>Description</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>In this role you will have an incredible opportunity to provide individual, group, and family counseling to patients as required. You will also have a great opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team consisting of the clinic Medical Director, Program Director, Treatment Service Coordinator, Counselors and Nursing staff to ensure the overall safety and wellbeing of our patients.</p> <p>Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential Functions)</p> <ul> <li>Works with patients to complete all intake, admission, discharge and aftercare paperwork. </li><li>Documents patient progress through counseling and interaction through groups. </li><li>Completes patient psychosocial and an individualized treatment plan within required specific timeframe. </li><li>Identifies any clinical/case management needs and works to address these needs. </li><li>Performs individual, group and family counseling as required. </li><li>Reports abuse, maltreatment and patient grievances as needed. </li><li>Educates patients in all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues and steps to recovery. </li><li>Actively participates in community relations activities as directed and authorized. </li><li>Ensures the reading and understanding of Policy and Procedure Manual. </li><li>Ensures compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 and 45 CFR HIPAA. </li><li>Ensures compliance with Local, State, Federal and Colonial Management Group, LP rules, regulations and policies. </li><li>Acts always in the best interest of the program and company; honors, supports, and protects the proprietary rights of the company. </li><li>Performs other tasks as assigned by competent authority. </li></ul> <p>Essential Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Interns must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university within a program which offers course credit for internships. </li><li>Intern must be in the process of pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree within specific program and/or state requirements. </li><li>Applicants preferably should have completed introductory course work in substance abuse theories and practices. </li><li>Interns must clear a security background check and follow company policies and procedures. </li><li>Candidates must follow all ethical and professional standards. </li><li>Candidates must follow New Season policy and procedures. </li><li>Candidates must meet with their Internship Supervisor one hour per week, flexible scheduling available. </li></ul> <p>Job or State Requirements</p> <p>Internship</p>
