Discover for yourself why the Evans family continues to grow and how our customers have come to know, it's easier with Evans.</p> <p>Evans Distribution Systems, one of the area's leading logistics providers is looking for experienced Afternoon Forklift Driver for its growing Division in Detroit, MI.</p> <p>Description</p> <ul> <li>Unload inbound shipments safely and move product as needed. </li><li>Efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate area </li><li>Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage. </li><li>Prepare necessary paperwork and submit it to operations manager. </li><li>Frequent & repetitive lifting using both hands/arms for items weighing. </li><li>The Lifting frequency may be more than 100 repetitions per-shift. </li><li>Frequent bending and twisting at waist/knees/neck while off-loading </li><li>Help maintain cleanliness of warehouse and building grounds. </li><li>Handle customer products with integrity </li><li>Perform all duties in conformance with appropriate safety and security standards. </li><li>Assist in warehousing operations as needed, and all other miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor. </li><li>Maintain the facility's equipment and materials with integrity in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. </li><li>Responsible for awareness and compliance with warehouse work rules and company policies </li><li>Lift using proper safety methods provided by the company. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High school degree/GED </li><li>3 years' experience driving a Forklift is a must. </li><li>Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing (including background check and drug test) </li></ul> <p>Details & Location</p> <ul> <li>Position is located on the Eastside of Detroit, MI. </li><li>Shift available 6pm to 6am must be flexible to working 4 days/3 days </li><li>Starting wage: $17.00/hour </li></ul> <p>How to Apply</p> <ul> <li>Online: https://www.evansdist.com/search-openings/ </li><li>For more information, please contact our HR team: (313) 827-9182 </li></ul>
