All while understanding that together we are even better.</p> <p>The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Medical Group</p> <p>Work location: 3000 MEDICAL PARK DR, Tampa, 33613</p> <p>PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Provide services similar to those of a physician. </li><li>Examine patients, take medical histories, maintain patient records, identify health risk factors, prescribe medications, make referrals and otherwise treat health conditions. </li><li>Interpret, monitor and adjust anticoagulation therapy. </li><li>Supervision of nuclear stress tests and treadmill stress tests in the outpatient practice setting. </li><li>Will diagnose and treat in collaboration with the supervising Cardiologist, adult cardiovascular patients in addition to a variety of chronic health conditions including but not limited to diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia etc. </li><li>Assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations and identifying any medical conditions. </li><li>Obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories of patients. </li><li>Determines abnormalities by administering and/or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies. </li><li>Interpreting test results of patients. </li><li>Will need to work weekdays and potentially take practice some evenings and weekends. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>Skilled in the use of specialized equipment used in respective area of practice </li><li>Good organizational skills in planning/ implementing daily activities </li><li>Leadership/mentorship/clinical resource skills </li><li>Ability to multi-task on a variety of tasks and projects </li><li>Excellent organization skills </li><li>Skilled in providing age-appropriate education regarding care management interventions and illness adjustment issues </li></ul> <p>Qualifications - External</p> <p>The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:</p> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>1+ year of experience as a APRN in the Cardiovascular Services Required </li><li>Active APRN license in the State of Florida </li></ul> <p>LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>Valid American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & ACLS certifications </li><li>Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) </li><li>Advanced APRN Certification </li></ul> <p>The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:</p> <p>QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Pay Range:</p> <p>$91,313.86 - $169,845.73</p> <p>This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.</p>
