<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Students will perform under the supervision of a Nebraska licensed Medical Radiographer registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)</p> <ul> <li>PRN Opportunity </li><li>Performs limited diagnostic radiographic procedures. Radiographic procedures must not include CT, the use of contrast media, and the use of fluoroscopic or mammographic equipment </li><li>Performs and ensures safe, knowledgeable age-specific patient care in a holistic manner </li><li>Provides patient education and responds to patient and customer concerns </li><li>Completes documentation of patient x-ray record and Quality Control processes </li><li>Performs value-added activities that result in positive financial performance and customer satisfaction </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned or requested </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Current enrollment at the senior level in a school of Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) </li></ul> <p>Licensure & Certification</p> <ul> <li>State of Nebraska Temporary Medical Radiographer license </li><li>BLS from the American Heart Association required upon hire </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Understands methods and is capable of performing venipuncture as required for position </li><li>Demonstrated ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in an environment with shifting priorities, while providing accurate deliverables in a timely fashion </li><li>Must be self-motivated, and able to take ownership of projects/assignments </li><li>Must be a team player with excellent follow-up and customer service skills </li><li>Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills </li><li>Interpersonal skills in dealing with guests and team members </li></ul> <p>HelloImaging ImagingNebraska #MissionCritical</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>At CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy, our focus is patient-centered care.
