This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complexity, loves solving tough user experience challenges, and can drive clarity and craft at every step of the product development process. You'll be responsible for shaping product vision, setting design strategy, and delivering polished, thoughtful experiences that delight our customers and elevate the product as a whole. You bring rigor to the process and humility to your work. </li><li>Influence beyond your domain: Work across teams to ensure cohesive experiences and consistent design patterns across the Klaviyo platform. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Own design for a major product area, collaborating with PMs, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver key features </li><li>Translate complex workflows into simple, elegant interfaces that help customers achieve their goals with confidence </li><li>Create and maintain user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity visuals, prototypes, and documentation that guide implementation </li><li>Validate design decisions through user research, usability testing, and analytics </li><li>Collaborate with and contribute to Klaviyo's design system and visual language </li><li>Present your work to cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders with clarity and confidence </li><li>Continuously seek opportunities to improve product usability, accessibility, and cohesion </li><li>Partner with content designers, researchers, and data scientists to enhance the overall experience </li></ul> <p>Who You Are</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of experience designing software products, with at least 5 years in a dedicated product design role </li><li>Experience leading end-to-end design efforts for complex B2B or SaaS products </li><li>Strong visual and interaction design skills, with a modern aesthetic and attention to craft </li><li>A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to solve real customer problems and drive business results </li><li>Deep user empathy and experience conducting or collaborating on qualitative and quantitative research </li><li>Excellent communication skills, especially written-able to clearly express your design decisions and rationale to diverse audiences </li><li>Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and navigating ambiguity </li><li>A systems thinker who balances detail with big-picture design strategy </li><li>Experience working closely with product and engineering counterparts on cross-functional teams </li></ul> <p>We use Covey as part of our hiring and / or promotional process.
