<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Merrimack, NH.</p> <p>Summary: The Senior Data Engineer will work on building strategic platforms. This role is focused on delivering robust, scalable, and maintainable rule-based systems that support dynamic decision-making across technology landscape. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to implement rule logic, optimize performance, and ensure operational excellence in a cloud-native environment.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives </li><li>Can collaborate well with the Business, your team members, work independently, and influence your technology peers* 5-8 years of experience in systems engineering or software development, with exposure to enterprise platforms </li><li>Extensive experience in data engineering, including data modeling, analysis, and aggregation </li><li>Experience in ETL/ELT tools (Informatica or SnapLogic or equivalent) </li><li>Experience in Python </li><li>Advanced experience designing, deploying, and operating systems in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) </li><li>Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle) and ability to extract data from multiple systems </li><li>Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, M-Query, security, and gateway configuration </li><li>Strong skills in performance optimization, troubleshooting, and debugging </li><li>Strong analytical and logical skills </li><li>Ability to design and build APIs and participate in code reviews and technical discussions </li><li>Ability to analyze trends and recommend improvements </li><li>An innovative mindset committed to automating and streamlining manual processes </li></ul>
