<ul> <li>Demonstrates supervisory qualities by working cooperatively with management and caregivers. </li><li>Assists in planning and organizing resources (personnel, equipment, supplies, and processes (methods, procedures, policies and systems) toward the attainment of Heritage's mission, goals and objectives, including the optimum provision of services to customers. </li><li>Assists in evaluating, planning and providing nursing care to residents. </li><li>Implements clinical and technical aspects of care and nursing orders in accordance with established policies/procedures and maintains full compliance with all government laws and regulations regarding the delivery of the resident care. </li><li>Administers prescribed medications and documents same according to Heritage at Falmouth guidelines and regulations. </li><li>Functions within limits of Nursing Statutes and Regulations of the Commonwealth of MA and Heritage policies and procedures. </li><li>Provides direct care to residents with nursing needs and assists with the ADL needs of residents. </li><li>Completes documentation and reports according to prescribed Heritage policy and procedure. </li><li>Informs Management regarding conditions of residents and/or other pertinent observations. </li><li>Supervises staff whose responsibilities are to attend to resident/staff/visitor needs in a systematic and logical manner. </li><li>Reports all accidents/incidents to management, </li><li>Understands and adheres to established fire, disaster, emergency and employee safety programs. </li><li>Adheres to Universal Precautions and Infection Control Policies, including following established hand washing procedures, use of appropriate PPE and supplies when handling infectious materials, following established policies governing the use/disposal of PPE and disposal of infectious wastes. </li><li>Wears and/or uses safety equipment and supplies and uses proper body mechanics while performing duties (e.g., back brace, mechanical lifts, etc. when moving or lifting heavy objects). </li><li>Reports to work in compliance with work schedules and assignments, and demonstrates versatility and/or willingness to cover various functions and shifts, weekends and holidays, and during emergency conditions. . </li><li>Drive Heritage vehicle for errands, transporting, or other uses as directed. </li><li>Performs other job-related duties as requested by the Executive Director and/or designee to meet the needs of the residents and the facility. </li></ul> <p>Consistently provides service excellence to all residents, visitors, volunteers and co-workers in a manner that reflects Heritage at Falmouth's commitment to CARES; compassion, accountability, respect, excellence and service.</p> <ul> <li>Must be a licensed nurse, currently licensed in the State of MA </li><li>Supervisory and management skills </li><li>Must have a current MA license </li><li>Must be proficient in the use of personal computer and Microsoft Office applications, such as Word </li><li>Must be able to speak the English language in an understandable manner. </li><li>Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. </li></ul>
