<p>ICU - RN</p> <p>Currently seeking qualified Registered Nurse (RN) candidates to staff full-time 13-week contracts in ICU, at a great hospital in the Terre Haute area. Opportunities are available on night shifts. We are looking for Nurses with ICU Experience. 2 years of experience is required. Guaranteed 36 hours per week. Current pay is $39-$48 per hour, depending on RN location (local vs travel)</p> <p>Requirements of the Registered Nurse - RN</p> <ul> <li>Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensed within the state of Indiana. </li><li>2 years of recent and related experience, as required by the facility. </li><li>Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team </li><li>Must be able to remain calm under pressure </li><li>Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly </li><li>Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by the facility </li></ul> <p>Benefits for the ICU - RN</p> <ul> <li>Flexible schedule </li><li>Weekly pay </li><li>Bonus opportunities ($500 Contract Completion Bonus & Referral Bonus) </li><li>Healthcare premium reimbursements (Qualifying FT employees) </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities of the ICU - RN</p> <ul> <li>Organize and deliver the care of a group of patients with needs of varying complexity. </li><li>Plan, direct, assess, and provide nursing care according to the policies and procedures of the hospital and department. </li><li>Provide Direct patient care in the ICU setting. </li><li>Monitor and assess critically ill patient conditions while administering medications, treatments, and procedures ordered by the Provider. </li><li>Operate and manage advanced medical equipment such as cardiac monitors, and IV pumps. </li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans. </li><li>Respond promptly to changes in patient status or emergencies, and be prepared to provide immediate intervention. </li><li>Educate patients and family members regarding medical conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care. </li><li>Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in an electronic medical record. </li><li>Adhere to hospital policies and protocols while maintaining safety standards to ensure quality patient care. </li><li>Participate in any continuous education and training to stay in compliance. </li></ul> <p>#IHCindy</p>
