In this essential role, you will support critical patient care by ensuring the timely processing and preparation of blood products. Primary duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Receive and triage patient blood samples for testing </li><li>Accurately order and log tests in the laboratory information system </li><li>Prepare blood components for transfusion, following proper procedures </li><li>Communicate test results and blood product availability to clinical teams </li><li>Perform routine quality control checks and preventative maintenance on lab equipment </li><li>Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of blood products </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: $27.71 - $36.60/hour</p> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED or HiSet) </li><li>Ability to work holidays and other shifts as needed </li><li>Proficient computer skills, including data entry and navigating laboratory systems </li><li>Recent experience in a blood bank setting preferred </li><li>Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (BA or BS) preferred </li></ul>
