If you have never taught the SEI Endorsement Course or if you last taught the SEI Endorsement Course prior to SY21-22, you should register for NEW Instructor training. New instructors will be required to complete a 3 hour online module prior to the training session. </li><li>If you have taught the SEI Endorsement Course since SY21-22 but did not attend training in SY24-25, and are not currently listed as an Approved Instructor you must complete a Returning Instructor training before you may teach the course again. </li><li>If you are currently listed as an Approved Instructor you are welcome to attend a Returning Instructor training, but not required to do so until SY27-28. </li><li>All training sessions will be delivered online via Zoom. The RETELL instructor must have a commitment to address the persistent gap in academic proficiency experienced by multilingual students. At the heart of this initiative are training and licensure requirements for the Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement, which core academic and career vocational teachers of multilinguals and principals/assistant principals and supervisors/directors who supervise or evaluate such teachers must obtain.</p> <p>OMME seeks instructors for both SEI Endorsement Teacher and SEI Administrator courses during SY25-26.
