Good computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology is also a requirement. Staff must have the ability to multitask by answering phones, collecting and verifying information, understanding and scheduling any Surgical or Endoscopic procedure(s) in Op Time from all Specialties for all LMHS Surgical facilities. This position requires the ability to work in a fast paced sometimes stressful environment; must be organized and have the ability to prioritize, be extremely detail oriented to assure accuracy and remain flexible to provide exceptional customer experience. This job requires a person to be able to work independently, and yet be a team player that supports efficient use of the available Surgery and Anesthesia time and resources during prime time hours. Effective planning is essential to optimize the surgical experience for the patient, surgeon and staff. Able to implement and follow standard processes that support clear and accurate communication and will improve quality, safety and productivity while decreasing the opportunity for adverse events.
