Find your future with us.</p> <p>The Boeing Company is seeking an Industrial Hygienist (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Enterprise Safety Deployment team based out of North Charleston, SC.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Plans and conducts industrial hygiene audits and evaluations</p> </li><li> <p>Plans, implements and assesses occupational health and safety programs and processes to maintain a safe and healthy work environment</p> </li><li> <p>Develops and leads training and instructions</p> </li><li> <p>Interprets and advises on the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluates and provides selection advice on existing or emergent risk management control technologies</p> </li><li> <p>Leads audits, inspections and investigations and coordinates resolution of issues</p> </li><li> <p>Develops corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections</p> </li><li> <p>Works with management to facilitate risk management decisions</p> </li><li> <p>Analyzes emerging technology for the identification of potential hazards and control methods</p> </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelors degree or higher</p> </li><li> <p>3+ years of experience performing industrial hygiene work within a manufacturing environment</p> </li><li> <p>3+ years of experience assessing and evaluating risk</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelors degree or higher in a safety related field (Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Toxicology, Bio-Engineering, Public Health, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Level 4: 5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience</p> </li><li> <p>Level 3: 3+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience</p> </li><li> <p>Certified Industrial Hygienist</p> </li><li> <p>Industrial Hygiene (compliance, monitoring, assessments, planning, regulations) to included Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation, Industrial Ventilation, Confined Space, Heat Stress and Ionizing Radiation</p> </li></ul> <p>Drug Free Workplace:</p> <p>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p> <p>Pay & Benefits:</p> <p>At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
