<p>Shady Grove Medical Center</p> <p>If you are a current Adventist HealthCare employee, please click this link to apply through your Workday account.</p> <p>Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Quality & Patient Safety Project Coordinator who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.</p> <p>As a Quality & Patient Safety Project Coordinator, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate logistics for the three sections of the Quality Department: Quality, Patient Safety/Risk Management, and Infection Prevention, to include managing the Directors' and Manager's calendars, completing payroll, purchasing supplies, and overall office coordination. </li><li>Support the Quality and Patient Safety program through management of the Performance Improvement Committee, Complications Improvement Committee, Infection Prevention Committee, and Department-led Workgroups to include meeting management, chair support, reporting coordination, coordination of presentations, and document development </li><li>Support the Patient Safety and Risk Management Program through retrieval, triage, and referral/entry into RL of hotline investigations, and follow-up with callers to obtain additional information when needed to promote customer satisfaction and closure of cases within regulatory mandated timelines. </li><li>Manage the SGMC policy and procedure library and Policy Committee to ensure policies are up-to-date </li><li>Supports professional peer review processes and the Professional Practice Evaluation Committee through management of meetings, preparation and distribution of documents, coordination of physician chair signoffs, and meeting logistics and support of the OPPE processes. </li><li>Manages the SGMC Licensure/Certification/Regulatory Program to ensure entity licenses and permits are kept current and renewed in a timely manner. </li><li>Manages logistics and participates in Command Center operations to assure successful achievement of TJC, OHCQ, CMS, and other regulatory survey activities.
