<p>General Summary: Under supervision of the Center Director/Program Coordinator or Designee, to participate in the responsibility of performing lifeguarding, water rescue and safety procedures: To perform a variety of tasks in the prevention of injuries at the pool facilities.</p> <ul> <li>Maintains Lifeguard & CPR/First Aid certifications. Administer First Aid and/or CPR as needed; performs water rescue functions </li><li>Observe patrons and enforce the safety rules and regulations of the pool </li><li>Customer Service/Handles Objections/Positive Public Perception </li><li>Participates in Lifeguard Training sessions </li><li>Dependability/ Attentiveness/Excellent Communication skills </li></ul> <p>POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES MIGHT INCLUDE:</p> <ul> <li>Lifeguarding and CPR/First Aid administering </li><li>Familiarity with and use of water safety equipment </li></ul> <p>Required minimum qualifications:</p> <p>Education: Lifeguard Training</p> <p>Experience: None</p> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lifeguard certification </li><li>Water rescue safety methods </li><li>Pool Safety operating regulations </li></ul> <p>Certification:</p> <ul> <li>Lifeguard certification and CPR/First Aid </li></ul>
