<p>Hiring Department</p> <p>Department of Psychiatry</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The Center for Child Well-Being, housed within the Department of Psychiatry in the University of Missouri School of Medicine, seeks an Educational Resource Coach to support Early Childhood Programs, including the Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health (iECMH) Initiative.</p> <p>This position will be based regionally in the East part of Missouri (e.g., St. Louis, Arnold, Hillsboro) and will require regular travel both regionally and statewide.</p> <p>We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in special education and/or extensive experience working with children ages 0-5 who have atypical mental, behavioral, and/or physical development.</p> <p>About the Center</p> <p>The Center for Child Well-Being drives positive change for children and families through innovative programs, collaborative community partnerships, and strategic capacity building. Join us in shaping a more responsive and resilient childhood systems landscape across Missouri!</p> <p>Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Provide on-site consultation and coaching to early childhood programs in East Missouri, focused on social-emotional learning within a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework. </li><li>Support implementation of Tier 1 (universal supports), Tier 2 (targeted supports), and Tier 3 (individualized intensive interventions). </li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices, state mandates, and emerging trends in early childhood mental health and education in Missouri. </li><li>Develop and deliver in-person and virtual training sessions for stakeholders on early childhood mental health and social-emotional learning. </li><li>Conduct research on evidence-based practices to support training and inform project development and implementation. </li><li>Contribute to project management and project development initiatives as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Shift</p> <p>Monday - Friday</p> <p>8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.</p> <p>Occasional nights and weekends to accommodate trainings.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>3 or more years of experience in early childhood education settings preferred.</p> <p>Experience with evidence-based frameworks such as the Pyramid Model, Conscious Discipline, trauma-informed care, etc.</p> <p>Anticipated Hiring Range</p> <p>Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 annually</p> <p>Grade: GGS - 9E</p> <p>University Title: EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE COACH</p> <p>Internal applicants can determine their university title by accessing the Talent Profile tile in myHR.</p> <p>Application Materials</p> <p>In addition to the Online Application, please provide a Resume/CV.</p> <p>Benefit Eligibility</p> <p>This position is eligible for University benefits.
