<p>Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Legal Biller.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Reviews and processes invoices with accuracy </li><li>Ensures invoices are coded properly </li><li>Follows and ensures appropriate workflow processes specific to firm policies </li><li>Ensuring invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to firm policies </li><li>Responds to inquiries in a timely manner </li><li>Use various methods to add financial information to journals and ledgers </li><li>Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned </li><li>Reconcile discrepancies, and prepare correction documents as needed, by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts </li><li>Accurately code documents with expenditure codes and accounting codes </li><li>Support accounts payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing </li><li>Utilize a number of sources to create statements and reports </li><li>Assist Accounts Receivable with processing daily invoices/credit, applying cash receipts, and collecting past due balances. Other ad hoc accounting projects and reports* Excellent analytical skills are required </li><li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills </li><li>Strong in both written and verbal communication </li><li>Experience with accounting databases and software preferred </li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office products </li><li>E-billing experience </li><li>Legal experience </li></ul>
