As part of Beacon Health System, patients have access to providers not only at this location but can access resources and services from across the entire health system.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>As a Pre-Admitting Registered Nurse, you'll report to the Director. You'll apply the nursing process utilizing the Relationship-Based Care framework and establish strong patient and family relationships. The Pre-Admitting RN collaborates with other professional, clinical, and ancillary staff in providing quality care to patients, displays strong teamwork and exhibits self-care and self-knowing to be empathetic and compassionate in every interaction.</p> <p>Pre-Admitting RN Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manages workload, takes breaks, uses vacation time, and recognizes stress. Demonstrates care for patients and team.</p> </li><li> <p>Takes accountability, mentors others, communicates clearly, participates in team huddles, and delegates appropriately.</p> </li><li> <p>Plans and delivers respectful, competent care. Maintains confidentiality and professional accountability.</p> </li><li> <p>Assesses, educates, and engages patients and families. Responds promptly and uses critical thinking to support health outcomes.</p> </li><li> <p>Pursues ongoing education, participates in improvement initiatives, and maintains attendance and certifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluates care effectiveness, conducts audits, gathers patient feedback, and completes documentation and assigned duties.</p> </li></ul> <p>What You Bring</p> <p>You bring strong clinical knowledge and skill in assessments, procedures, and interdisciplinary care planning. You understand age-specific care needs and deliver individualized treatment.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) is required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Indiana.</p> </li><li> <p>Candidates hired after January 1, 2014, must have or obtain a BSN within five (5) years of employment as a Registered Nurse, or will have the option to become certified in their area of specialty.
