<p>What you'll do...</p> <p>Position: Manager II, Quality Engineer - Supply Chain</p> <p>Job Location: 702 SW 8th Street, Bentonville, AR 72712</p> <p>Duties: Compiles and submits deviations to existing One Best Way playbooks and provides input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams on project ideation and replication opportunities. Assists with the tactical deployment of the Quality Excellence WPS program methodology. Manages project execution of top Quality losses in the functional area and assists in building the capability of other area managers and associates. Assists with the creation of area Quality loss profile analysis and performance metrics. Develops gap analysis to support WPS integration. Leads Quality-related savings projects within area of responsibility by taking loss out of the process. Supports Department Managers with WPS programs, projects, associate engagement, and KPI improvements within process area. Delivers expected functional area results through Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis, loss elimination, and by creating standard work to reduce process variation. Assists with the review and response of Quality focused process improvement projects owned by area managers Leads Process Improvement tools and methods (for example, 5S, root cause analysis, six sigma, time and motion studies) to eliminate Quality losses and deviations in an area within a Distribution Center according to Network Process Structure using Walmart Performance System (WPS) programs. Promotes and supports company policies, initiatives, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Telecommuting / working from home is permissible.</p> <p>Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent in Engineering or a related field plus 3 years of experience in Quality or Process Improvement or related experience.</p> <p>Skills required: Must have experience with: Utilized 5S lean tool to assist with organizing workspace by sorting and prioritizing essential items for efficiency and productivity. Utilizing Root Cause Analysis to resolve Safety and Quality Issues. Creating SOP and Training operators on new procedures for loss elimination. Utilizing Time and Motion Study for Line Capacity/Balancing and designing new stations for operators. Creating new Area Layout with proper visualization to avoid transportation waste and reaching desired goals. Preparing documentation to convey project details and timelines to upper management. Creating Dashboards as needed to understand top losses and fix quality issues. Performing Project Management by assigning tasks to the team and tracking project progress. Initiating Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) as needed to resolve process discrepancies and improve productivity and quality. MS Visio - Value Stream map/Process Study - Identifying detailed steps within a process to resolve problems using DMAIC methodology. Understanding ERP system and implementing throughout the facility. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.</p> <p>Salary Range: $104,000 to $156,000 / year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.?
