<p>Oversees and operates Funland Train operation, food preparation equipment, and/or admissions; prepares and sells admissions and concession food items by performing the following duties.include the following. The list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary. Other duties may be assigned. Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.</p> <p> </p> <p>Coordinates the preparation and operation of assigned work site, admissions, and concession food area, including the proper handling and balancing of cash receipts and all necessary site reports; prepares food and concession items for other sites as necessary. Answers phone and makes reservations as necessary. Operates Funland train as conductor (driver).</p> <p>Operates concession food preparation equipment in a safe manner. Oversees and assists with event admissions areas and concession facilities.</p> <p>Cleans concession areas, concession buildings, and grounds; insures the refill of paper towels and toilet paper in the restrooms as directed on a daily basis.</p> <p>Supervises multiple Concession Worker I in the sale and preparation of concession food items and admissions and the safe operation of the Funland train; may act as concession manager/facility leader in his/her absence. </p> <p>                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Based on assigned location, training includes part of or all of the following courses:  (ServSafe) Food Handler, Funland Train Operations Procedures, and Event Admissions Procedures. </li><li>A Class D (non-intermediate) driver's license and good driving record are required and must be maintained throughout employment. </li></ul> <p>The complexity, guidelines, supervisory controls, and supervision responsibilities described below are representative of this position.</p> <p> </p> <p>SUPERVISORY CONTROLS:</p> <p>The supervisor provides continuing or individual assignments by indicating generally what is to be done, limitations, quality and quantity expected, deadlines, and priority of assignments. The supervisor provides additional, specific instructions for new, difficult, or unusual assignments including suggested work methods or advice on source material available. The employee uses initiative in carrying out recurring assignments independently without specific instruction, but refers deviations, problems, and unfamiliar situations not covered by instructions to the supervisor for decision or help. The supervisor reviews some of the work, with more review of difficult or unfamiliar assignments.</p> <p> </p> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:</p> <p>Supervises one or two Concession Worker I in sale of concession items, operation of rides, and the sale of tickets and/or admissions. Responsibilities include task supervision. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the City's policies and applicable federal and state employment laws.   </p> <p> </p> <p>COMPLEXITY:</p> <p>The work consists of tasks that are clear-cut and directly related; there is little or no choice to be made in deciding what needs to be done; actions to be taken or responses to be made are readily discernible; the work is quickly mastered.</p> <p> </p> <p>GUIDELINES:</p> <p>Specific, detailed guidelines covering most important aspects of the assignment are provided; authorization is needed for deviations. There is no choice in deciding what needs to be done and very little choice in how the task is to be done.</p>
