<p>This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. The system's R&D program is actively outreaching for opportunities to offer novel cancer treatments through clinical trials with VA's Precision Oncology Programs, VA's National Oncology Program, and the National Cancer Institute. We are seeking an oncologist who will be interested in contributing to our robust cancer care initiatives.</p> <p>General Description</p> <p>The Oncology Physician is assigned to the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System, Medical Service, providing comprehensive, efficient, compassionate, high-quality healthcare to all patients, functioning as a member of the inter-disciplinary team providing clinical care to the patients at VASNHCS in inpatient setting. As a Oncology Physician, the responsibilities include providing medical evaluation and directing overall management of patients in collaboration with other members of health care team.
