<p>Responsible for performing various tasks in maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electrical power and control systems for conveying and processing in the construction aggregates industry.</p> <p>This position will support our Fairfield, Kershaw and Enoree, SC locations.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>30% of job:</p> <ul> <li>Preventive Maintenance- Inspect wiring and equipment for proper installation. Administer electrical preventive maintenance programs. Maintain electrical spare parts and supplies inventory on service vehicles and in regional storage locations. </li></ul> <p>25% of job:</p> <ul> <li>Technical Assistance -Support the Regional Operations and Electrical Engineering department in providing technical assistance to all locations as requested. </li><li>Competent in use of digital multi-meters, meggers, and other electronic instruments for field troubleshooting. </li></ul> <p>25% of job:</p> <ul> <li>Trouble Shooting Power and Control wiring & Electrical Repair-Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems including power, controls, and motors. </li><li>Document changes to field drawings. </li></ul> <p>20% of job:</p> <ul> <li>Manage small electrical jobs. Schedule and monitor electrical contractors on minor projects and maintenance work </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Education: High School Diploma or GED</p> <p>Ability to pass DOT physical to operate work truck</p> <p>Certifications: State Electrical license (SC requirements)</p> <p>Ability to travel outside of SC to assist other locations with projects-GA/NC/VA.</p> <p>Work Experience:</p> <p>2+ years industrial electrical experience is necessary and ability to read and interpret electrical drawings</p> <ul> <li>1+ year aggregates industry experience preferred </li><li>1+ years' experience PLC ladder logic skill preferred </li></ul> <p>Technical Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Computer Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) </li><li>Read and interpret electrical drawings. </li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 45lbs. </li><li>Troubleshooting and repair of control and power circuits. </li><li>Ability to ensure a safe work environment. </li><li>PLC Proficiency preferred </li><li>Project Management or Capital Projects experience </li></ul> <p>ENVIRONMENT OR PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:</p> <p>Ability to work under conditions of frequent exposure to dusty conditions and the full range of weather conditions; frequently in, on, and around quarry high walls and pit; extended periods working from elevated positions or in tunnels.</p> <ul> <li>Benefits start on day 1 of employment and include: </li><li>Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability </li><li>Paid time off: personal, vacation, holidays, 5 well being days yearly </li><li>Matching 401K and retirement pension </li><li>Additional benefits and bonus plan </li></ul> <p>Luck Companies is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
