<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, the EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) has responsibility to provide Basic Life Support skills and to assist the EMT-Paramedic in the delivery of pre-hospital patient care. The EMT will provide care for neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The EMT will act in accordance with Act 37, Rules and Regulations, PA DOH EMS Protocols, regional and GVH policies and procedures.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Functions as a certified EMT in a BLS or in the Advanced Life Support Unit, performing procedures as outlined by Act 37, PA Rules and Regulations, PA DOH EMS Protocols and providing quality pre-hospital care to neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients </li><li>Accepts orders from approved Medical Command physicians and promptly implements interventions.
