<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Support Staff/Instructional Aide</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>8/8/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Flat Rock Community Schools Early Childhood Center</p> <p>District:</p> <p>&nbsp Flat Rock Community Schools&nbsp&nbspAdditional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Posting Date:</p> <p>Friday, August 08, 2025</p> <p>Position:</p> <p>Classroom Aide - Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP)</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Flat Rock Community Schools Early Childhood Center</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check with MSP, a background check with LARA, and pass a TB Test. </li><li>Experience working in early childhood education preferred. </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality. </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication and presentational skills. </li><li>Ability to cooperate successfully as a member of a team. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with others, including </li><li>Work effectively, make decisions and problem solve collaboratively within a team. </li></ul> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in instructing and supervising children in classroom activities. </li><li>Assist teacher in incorporating required activities into lesson plans that support children's development. </li><li>Help teacher prepare activities that support lesson plans. </li><li>Maintain open communication with parents. </li><li>Help to maintain a clean and organized learning environment. </li><li>Engage in continuing education and professional development activities such as training, workshops, and classes to meet required qualifications. </li><li>Perform all other related duties and documentation requirements as assigned. </li><li>Must be willing to fill in for food prep when needed and the following responsibilities include: </li><li>Responsible for food handling and classroom delivery as determined by menu and assignment. </li><li>Ability to complete State of Michigan approved Allergen Training Program. </li><li>Serve students in a friendly manner. </li><li>Responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary work area. </li><li>Responsible for organizing kitchen area. </li><li>Other duties as assigned by Administrator. </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>Commensurate with experience</p> <p>Posting Deadline:</p> <p>Until Filled</p>
