<p>Head Baseball Coach</p> <p>The Full Time Head Baseball Coach reports directly to the Director of Athletics and will coach and recruit for the program directly in line with all University, Conference, and NCAA guidelines. Spalding University is located in downtown Louisville; Kentucky and we participate in the Saint Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) as an NCAA Division III member.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor and develop student-athletes. </li><li>Recruit and maintain a championship caliber men's baseball team. </li><li>Support academic success and the holistic growth personal growth of student-athletes. </li><li>Graduate successful student-athletes. </li><li>Develop practice plans, evaluate films and implement competitive strategies. </li><li>Work closely with admissions and other campus offices to recruit student-athletes </li><li>Manage recruiting database. </li><li>Ability to maintain effective work relations with administration, faculty, staff and students. </li><li>Plan season schedule and coordinate team travel. </li><li>Collaborate with athletics communication to maintain the Spalding Baseball social media accounts. </li><li>Organize team fundraising and community service opportunities. </li><li>Demonstrate a working knowledge of and adhere to NCAA Division III compliance rules to maintain the integrity of the program and athletic department. </li><li>Represent Spalding University and our athletic department in an exemplary fashion. </li><li>Oversee maintenance and upkeep of the Derby City Baseball Field. </li></ul>
