<p>Job Description</p> <p>The Assistant Controller position will perform the following duties:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to analyze and interpret numerical data and perform complex financial analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze monthly financial statements and provide summary financial reports to management, as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in preparing and analyzing the company budget.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate and prepare for the annual audit and corporate tax work.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to communicate with customers, vendors, community and company personnel in a positive and proactive manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to manage, mentor and lead others in the performance of their duties.</p> </li><li> <p>Interact with financial institutions, customers and vendors in a friendly, timely and quality manner; ensure financial institutions', customers' and vendors' questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare requested management reports for management and customers.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist staff with questions they have regarding their daily activities.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>High School Diploma or Equivalent</p> <p>2 - 4 Years previous experience in Accounting / Finance in distribution environment.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Finance</p> <p>4 - 7 Years previous experience in Accounting / Finance in distribution environment with team leadership experience within foodservice industry.</p>
