We are looking for someone who is skilled at helping get residents out of their rooms for our exciting programs! Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with a genuine concern for our residents' well-being and has a creative personality and positive attitude.</p> <p>Position Type: Full-Time</p> <p>Shift Available:</p> <p>Days Monday-Friday (8:30am-5:00pm) and every other Sunday</p> <p>Wage Range: $18.00-$19.50/ hr. DOE</p> <p>Location: 14500 Regent Lane, Burnsville, Minnesota 55306 South Metro</p> <p>What does an Activities Assistant do?</p> <ul> <li>Encourage, support, and assist residents with activities. </li><li>Interact and assist residents on a one-to-one basis outside of structured program times. </li><li>Document activity attendance and degree of involvement. </li><li>Act as a positive representative at all times. </li><li>Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff. </li><li>Perform other related tasks as needed. </li></ul> <p>What does an Activities Assistant require?</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience working in a Memory Care facility preferred. </li><li>Ability to assist residents with mobility, including pushing wheelchairs and escorting them throughout the building </li><li>Will need to obtain a DOT Certificate upon hire </li><li>Able to be adaptable , able to think on your feet. </li><li>Knowledgeable on current technology. </li><li>Must have a valid driver's license </li></ul> <p>About Us:</p> <p>At Regent at Burnsville, we believe in working hard while creating a joyful and supportive atmosphere.
