<p>Job Description</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>Location: Methodist Hospital - On-site with the possibility of 1-2 remote days after 3-month training is complete</p> <p>Position: Clinical Transplant Coordinator - Thoracic Transplant Program</p> <p>Shift: Mon-Fri with on call responsibilities; not required to go in for on call</p> <p>The Clinical Transplant Coordinator fulfills the primary responsibilities of coordinating the multidisciplinary approach in the evaluation, treatment, and facilitation of the transplant process, including follow-up care for organ recipients and donors. The role emphasizes collaboration, coordination, and consultation with nursing leadership, primary nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless transplant care.</p> <p><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>____</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Clinical Transplant Coordinator manages the complex transplant process by organizing multidisciplinary efforts, ensuring compliance with protocols, and supporting both patient and donor care. This position acts as a liaison among team members, fostering collaboration and contributing to positive patient outcomes throughout the transplant journey.
