You will focus on brownfield upgrades and like-for-like replacements of critical substation equipment.</p> <p>The engineer will lead projects from initial scope through execution, working with field crews, maintenance teams, and team members to ensure safe, and cost-effective delivery.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead replacement and upgrade projects for substation equipment, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Breakers</p> </li><li> <p>Switches</p> </li><li> <p>Transformers</p> </li><li> <p>Relays</p> </li><li> <p>Bushings and arresters</p> </li><li> <p>Define project scope and develop work packages</p> </li><li> <p>Perform troubleshooting and field investigations</p> </li><li> <p>Initiate projects and manage material requisitions and procurement</p> </li><li> <p>Modify and adjust designs in a brownfield environment (no greenfield)</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with construction crews and maintenance teams</p> </li><li> <p>Manage project schedules and timelines</p> </li><li> <p>Support execution through field presence and coordination</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure successful completion of maintenance and replacement activities</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering</p> </li><li> <p>Experience or interest in:</p> </li><li> <p>Substation equipment and systems</p> </li><li> <p>Field troubleshooting and maintenance</p> </li><li> <p>Work in brownfield/replacement environments</p> </li><li> <p>5+ years of experience</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with substation projects or power systems</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with:</p> </li><li> <p>SAP</p> </li><li> <p>ProjectWise</p> </li><li> <p>Basic knowledge of PLC or logic programming</p> </li><li> <p>Professional Engineer (PE) license (a plus)</p> </li></ul> <p>Our Safety Pledge to You:</p> <p>If you are as committed to your success as we are committed to your safety, then this is the position for you!
