<p>Why work with us?</p> <ul> <li>Flexible scheduling - work as little or as much as you want </li><li>Paid training </li><li>DailyPay - work today, get paid tomorrow </li><li>Advancement opportunities </li><li>Free admission to ALL Six Flags parks, including White Water Bay </li><li>Free tickets for friends and family </li><li>Discounts on passes, food, and merchandise </li><li>Exclusive employee events </li><li>Fun rewards, benefits, and more! </li><li>Pay Rate: $16/hr. </li></ul> <p>What You Will Be Doing</p> <ul> <li>Comply with all Six Flags policies and procedures </li><li>Check food to make sure of its quality and correct temperature as stated by NYS Department of Health </li><li>Finish/Garnish food to be served to Guests </li><li>Actively move food from the Kitchen to the Guest Table </li><li>Ensure food meets NYS Health Department as well as Six Flags requirements </li></ul> <p>How You Will Do It</p> <ul> <li>Prep food for use during shift </li><li>Clean food preparation areas, utensils and equipment </li><li>Store food in temperature-controlled equipment </li><li>Cook and package batches of food, such as hamburgers and fried chicken, which are prepared to order or kept hot/cold until sold </li><li>Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas </li><li>Make sure kitchen is hygienic and functional </li><li>Prepare food to meet state Health Department as well as Six Flag requirements </li><li>Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils </li><li>Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas </li><li>Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles </li><li>Prepare specialty foods such as pizzas following specific methods that usually require short preparation time </li><li>Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity </li></ul> <p>What You Will Need</p> <ul> <li>Must be 18 or over </li><li>Must be able to stand, or walk for extended periods of time </li><li>For safety purposes, the individual must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language </li><li>Previous culinary experience preferred </li><li>Ability to actively communicate with large groups of Guests and other co-workers within the operation </li><li>Be available to work flexible hours at nights and on weekends within the limits of applicable Federal, State and facility labor laws and guidelines </li><li>Must be a friendly and outgoing team player </li></ul>
