Attachments will not be accepted or considered during any phase of the hiring process including minimum qualification screening, comparative analysis, or interviews.</p> <p>The salary range for this position is:</p> <p>$47.27 - $60.51 Hourly</p> <p>$3,781.85 - $4,840.52 Biweekly</p> <p>$8,194.00 - $10,487.80 Monthly</p> <p>$98,328.00 - $125,853.60 Annually</p> <p>This position exists to provide specialized support and management of the Investigations unit, in the investigation and may support criminal prosecution of external and internal fraudulent criminal activity, with regards to FAMLI, including but not limited to, investigating criminal cases, criminal rings, abuse and fraud and official misconduct, training new Fraud Investigators, investigating non-traditional cases, potential threats and ID Abuse cases. In this position, the work includes identifying suspects, interviewing witnesses, examining leave and employer records, verifying the authenticity of documents, collecting evidence, preparing affidavits for court orders for the production of records, preparing affidavits for arrest warrants, writing comprehensive reports of investigation and onsite visits. Additionally, this position assigns cases to investigators, reviews, and can be involved in criminal cases. This position will Supervise the Cyber Investigations Team and will be responsible for hiring 5 fraud investigators. Some of those duties will include but are not limited to, providing training on conducting fraud investigations, quality assurance review of their work/investigations, reviewing/approving timecards, performance plans, etc. </p> <p>This position is the subject matter expert (SME) in unit processes and a high-level understanding of ACE and FAMLI processes. The SME's knowledge is critical to the success of FAMLI. This position may handle requests for joint investigations and their assignments. This position determines how to accommodate work pattern changes by shifting staff within the unit. This position assigns caseloads and monitors caseloads, workflow, timeliness, and quality, as well as approves operating expenditures. This position provides leadership and supervision to the Investigations Program in investigating and adjudicating cases. This position provides coaching and training and initiates team meeting discussions. This position is responsible for making process-level decisions, which includes directing the Investigations within the unit, overseeing the Unit's case management system, and supervising the unit's program. This position uses judgment and resourcefulness to interpret circumstances and establish guidelines that direct the Investigations Program to carry out the unit's goals, and the agency's mission.</p> <p>Class Code & Classification Description: (New)</p> <p>A2A6XXCRIMINAL INVESTIGATOR V</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Experience Only:</p> <p>Ten (10) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position, one (1) of which must have been at the level of a work leader, staff authority, unit supervisor, or equivalent. Relevant experience such as familiarity with security concepts, software, computer forensics, computer networking and cyber security investigations.</p> <p>Any required certifications needed for the position</p> <p>OR</p> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <p>A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to ten (10) years, one (1) of which must have been at the level of a work leader, staff authority, unit supervisor, or equivalent.
