This is a hands-on role for individuals with strong initiative who are ready to perform critical materials testing in the field to support high-quality infrastructure development. Whether you're experienced or looking to get started in this industry, we provide training and growth opportunities for committed team members.</p> <p>Compensation: $18-20/hour depending on experience</p> <p>Location: Meridian, ID</p> <p>FLSA Exemption: Non-Exempt</p> <p>Schedule: Working on Dispatch (Hours may vary)</p> <p>What you'll be doing:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform routine field testing of construction materials (e.g., soils, concrete, asphalt)</p> </li><li> <p>Verify conformance to construction plans and specifications</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately complete daily reports and datasheets</p> </li><li> <p>Follow procedures and safety standards in all field activities</p> </li><li> <p>Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor</p> </li><li> <p>Travel to job sites using company or personal vehicle</p> </li></ul> <p>What you have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license (required)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to pass a drug screening</p> </li><li> <p>Strong initiative and attention to detail</p> </li></ul> <p>What will make you stand out:</p> <ul> <li> <p>ACI, WAQTC certification in Soils, Concrete, or Asphalt</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience with field testing on construction projects</p> </li><li> <p>Clear and accurate documentation skills</p> </li><li> <p>Dependable and safety-conscious work habits</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Certification(s):</p> <ul> <li> <p>ACI - American Concrete Institute (Field, concrete, soils)</p> </li><li> <p>WAQTC - Soils</p> </li><li> <p>WAQTC - Concrete</p> </li><li> <p>WAQTC - Asphalt</p> </li></ul> <p>CMT Technical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
