<p>Job Title: Pharmacy Clerk</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The Pharmacy Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring efficient pharmacy operations by performing data entry tasks and handling phone communications with members and providers. This position involves a strong focus on production in a fast-paced environment, requiring adherence to schedules even after goals are met. The clerk is responsible for faxing and printing documents related to pharmacy approvals and denials.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Enter pharmacy data accurately and efficiently using dual screens. </li><li>Handle phone calls to members and providers, providing decisions on pharmacy approvals either approved, denied, or requiring more information. </li><li>Assist staff in maintaining proper workflow and meeting time-sensitive deadlines. </li><li>Fax and print documents related to pharmacy approvals and denials. </li><li>Participate in rotating responsibilities including making outbound phone calls to members. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in data entry and customer service. </li><li>Experience in administrative support and Microsoft Office. </li><li>Capability in order entry and printer support. </li><li>Experience in health care environments. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Previous pharmacy experience. </li><li>Strong computer skills and written communication abilities. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The role is 100% remote.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
