<p>Apply</p> <p>Description</p> <p>The Children's Workshop (TCW) Education Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the education programming and quality improvement initiatives as outlined by state licensing agencies at their assigned TCW school(s). The Education Coordinator provides mentoring and coaching supports to all teaching staff and collaborates with the teaching staff and School Director to guide p rofessional development experiences. The Education Coordinator serves as part of the school administration team and works with the School Director to coordinate and complete a variety of tasks related to daily school operations. The Education Coordinator ensures compliance with all applicable organization, state, or federal laws, regulations, and/or policies, including deliverables outlined by the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE).</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <p>? Bachelor's or Master's in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Human Development or Child Development;</p> <p>? Current R.I. teaching certification for grades pre-K to second grade or early childhood special education preferred;</p> <p>? 1+ year teaching in a licensed or approved childcare or public preschool environment; and,</p> <p>? Completion of RIELDS Foundations plus either Developing a Standards-Based Curriculum or Implementing a Standards-Based Classroom upon hire or within one year of hire.</p>
