<p>Sr Manager, Health Safety Environment, P&B</p> <p>Princeton, NJ</p> <p>Onsite</p> <p>As Senior Health, Safety, and Environment Manager, you'll lead HSE strategy across all departments at our perfumery site. You'll champion data-driven improvements, promote a safety-first culture, and guide operational teams toward sustainable practices. This role puts you at the forefront of HSE initiatives-driving impactful campaigns, shaping policies, and fostering learning with site leadership. Equal access to opportunities is a given, belonging is a shared feeling, authenticity is celebrated</p> <p>Your key responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Be a well-rounded HSE solution partner in protecting our people, the environment, and our assets to support sustainable business growth by building effective relationship, coaching, influencing and supporting stakeholders at all levels within the organization to strengthen HSE culture. </li><li>Ensure the local HSE management system is effectively designed, implemented, and controlled and meets Firmenich standards, ISO standards, and all relevant regulatory requirements. </li><li>Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the site operations and detailed processes and ensure key risks are well-understood and mitigated through the site Management System and action plans. Industry certifications such as ASP, CSP, CHMM a plus. </li><li>Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and experience working with regulatory agencies. Familiar with root cause and risk assessment methodologies </li><li>Strong influential and communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to convey complex concepts in relatable terms across all levels of the organization. </li><li>Working knowledge and understanding of HSE regulations and ISO management systems and principles including but not limited to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. </li><li>Be adept at working under pressure and demonstrate the ability to confidently make decisions with incomplete or conflicting data applying sound judgment and good reasoning skills. </li><li>High proficiency with standard office programs such as MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Ability to manipulate, analyze, and summarize data to provide key insights and develop strategic and tactical plans. </li></ul> <p>The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location.
