This includes patient assessment as well as the formulation and implementation of a treatment plan. Specializing in using footwear, including shoes, shoe modifications, foot orthoses and other pedorthic devices to resolve patient's problems in, or related to, the foot and lower limb.</p> <p>Demonstrates professionalism and experience specifically to manage comprehensive pedorthic patient care in the areas of fitting, fabricating, adjusting, or modifying devices for the patient's needs.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have completed the schooling necessary to become certified as a Certified Pedorthist.</p> <p>Minimum of one year experience in direct client care under the direct or indirect supervision of a privileged orthotic or pedorothic practitioner preferred.</p> <p>Certification in Pedorthics through the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC) is required.
