<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Head Custodian - Lindbergh High School</p> <ul> <li>Full-time position, 5:30am - 2:00pm; 40 hours/week </li><li>Schedule: 12 months, Monday-Friday </li><li>Beginning hourly rate: $16.83 - $18.50 , subject to experience </li><li>Full Benefits included: Medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, retirement </li><li>Non-exempt </li></ul> <p>Summary: Keeps the district's school buildings in such a state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Cleans and preserves designated spaces campus wide.</p> </li><li> <p>Classroom/Office cleaning, sweep/mop/vacuuming of classrooms, trash removal, restroom cleaning, laundry, outside duties-grounds trash pickup, snow/ice removal.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists visiting public utilizing the facilities with directions within building and in obtaining and setting up needed equipment for special events.</p> </li><li> <p>This could include setting up tables, chairs, tarps, stages and other requested items.</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise AM staff and communicate with 2nd and 3rd shift on a daily basis.</p> </li><li> <p>Use of Follett/Master Library software to for inventory, maintenance work orders and activity schedules.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to use and maintain cleaning equipment as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain regular attendance.</p> </li><li> <p>Train new employees.</p> </li><li> <p>Complies with district policies, safety guidelines and chemical handling procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to multi-task, manage shifting priorities, and respond to urgent needs quickly.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work and communicate with a diverse group of staff, students, contractors and community members.</p> </li><li> <p>Overtime as needed for weather events, school activities, or emergencies.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned by supervisor.</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in applying for this position, please apply via our online posting at https://lindbergh.schoolspring.com/.
