<p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Set up and operate digital machines according to job specifications, production schedules, and quality requirements. </li><li>Load materials, inks, substrates, or components as required for each job. </li><li>Review job orders, specifications, and instructions to ensure accuracy before production. </li><li>Monitor equipment during operation and make adjustments to maintain quality and throughput. </li><li>Conduct routine inspections of finished products to ensure alignment with quality standards. </li><li>Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime. </li><li>Complete preventive maintenance tasks and keep machinery in optimal working condition. </li><li>Maintain accurate documentation, including production logs, quality checks, and inventory usage. </li><li>Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, PPE requirements, and safe material handling. </li><li>Collaborate with supervisors, maintenance technicians, and team members to ensure smooth workflow. </li><li>Assist with training new team members on digital equipment and processes. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Prior machine operation experience in a manufacturing, print, or digital production environment. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret job tickets, technical instructions, and production schedules. </li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability. </li><li>Basic computer skills for equipment interfaces and production recordkeeping. </li><li>Ability to lift 40-50 lbs and stand for extended periods. </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Experience operating digital presses, or other automated digital production machinery. </li><li>Knowledge of color management, digital file handling, or print workflow systems. </li><li>Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles. </li></ul> <p>Key Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Attention to Detail - Monitors output quality and ensures precision. </li><li>Mechanical Skills - Troubleshoots and adjusts equipment effectively. </li><li>Technical Aptitude - Learns digital systems, controls, and maintenance routines quickly. </li><li>Time Management - Prioritizes jobs to meet production deadlines. </li></ul>
