<p>Position Title: Report Writer</p> <p>Rate of Pay : $20.00 per hour</p> <p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>Responds to Safety & Security Department incidents as requested to gather and document facts. This is a temporary seasonal position not to exceed 122 days.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Responds from the Safety & Security Department base location to the scene of safety and security incidents throughout the property. </li><li>Interviews participants and witnesses to gather information regarding each incident. </li><li>Generates written reports, photographs and gathers other pertinent information and documentation regarding the incident at hand. </li><li>Acts as ambassador for the OCFEC by answering inquiries from patrons, employees, business partners and guests, and responds to requests for assistance. </li><li>May assist in other Safety & Security Department duties including patrolling the property as needed. </li></ul> <p>This description in no way implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 18 years of age. </li><li>Demonstrated excellent customer service skills a must, particularly in dealing with others in difficult situations. </li><li>Previous security or law enforcement report writing and/or documentation experience required. </li><li>Must be able to work all 23 days of the annual OC Fair. </li><li>Ability to work outside the normal business day/week as demanded by events and programs. </li></ul> <p>Preferences:</p> <ul> <li>Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
