<p>Job Posting End Date</p> <p>05-18-2025</p> <p>Please note the job posting will close on the day before the posting end date.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Responsible for assisting in the execution of the AEP System corporate finance plan and supporting special projects.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>This role is expected to report onsite 5 days a week at 1 Riverside Plaza, Columbus OH 43215.</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL DO</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop recommendations for execution strategy for corporate financing activities for AEP system including issuing common and preferred stock, debt obligations, and other securities. Administer outstanding securities including sinking funds, maturities, refinancings, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete analysis of financing alternatives and assist in formulating financing plan for AEP system, including reviewing documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain relations with the corporate financing community to evaluate evolving strategies for the overall AEP financing program.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct analysis in support of negotiation and execution of bank facilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze interest rate, foreign exchange, and other hedging transactions.</p> </li><li> <p>Administer, as necessary, the financing requirements of the AEP leasing program: assess leasing requirements for assets, maintain contacts with prospective lessors, solicit bids for leasing equipment from lessors, evaluate leasing proposals, and oversee ongoing administration of all active leases.</p> </li></ul> <p>WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR</p> <p>Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field with solid understanding of financial theory.</p> <p>Experience: Five (5) years' experience in finance, treasury, accounting, or in a related field.</p> <p>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION</p> <ul> <li> <p>MBA with a concentration in finance from a top ranked program, CPA, PMP, or additional work experience is preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Solid written and verbal communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software with an emphasis on spreadsheets.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with Bloomberg terminals is preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation Data</p> <p>Compensation Grade:</p> <p>SP20-007</p> <p>Compensation Range:</p> <p>$85,081.00-106,352.50 USD</p> <p>The Physical Demand Level for this job is: S - Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
