<p>Title: Retail IT Applications Lead (Manager)</p> <p>Professional Domain: Retail IT Applications</p> <p>Reports to: Retail IT Director of Delivery</p> <p>Mission:</p> <p>The position will provide "hands-on" technical leadership in development and installations of Retail platforms, their integrations with other systems for L'Oreal 600+ retail B2C and B2B stores.</p> <p>Technical Proficiency:</p> <ul> <li>Mastery in the latest versions of CEGID Y2 Point-Of-Sale or GK Point-Of-Sale (or similar systems) exhibiting expertise with core database objects, release package installation and infrastructure / environment (servers, services, etc.) </li><li>Expert level of SQL Server Development, including Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, Assemblies </li><li>Strong Design and Development of Web APIs (Rest and SOAP) </li><li>Strong experience with Business Intelligence, SQL based SSRS, SSIS or other ETL tools </li><li>Strong experience with Point-Of-Sale application installations specializing in Point-Of-Sale applications, including their mobile versions </li><li>Working knowledge in administration of on-Premises and Cloud-based servers as well as SQL Server database </li><li>Working Knowledge of VB.Net / C#.NET, Java Script, HTML </li><li>Experience in system design and architecture, ability to read and develop complex system diagrams </li><li>Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing IT operations' best practices within IT security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols </li><li>Experience with batch scripting including PowerShell </li><li>Strong Knowledge of Client Server technologies and architecture, familiarity with Windows operating systems and platforms </li><li>Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP ECC, S4, P360) is a big plus </li></ul> <p>Key Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee day to day design and build activities including upgrading, post-launch monitoring and improvement of CEGID and GK Point-Of-Sale platforms </li><li>Perform Installations of POS applications (full installs and hot fixes) </li><li>Design, develop and deploy POS and mobile POS related configurations and infrastructure changes </li><li>Perform system / servers' health checks, write and support monitoring scripts </li><li>Troubleshoot system degradations, capture system logs and apply preventive measures to ensure stability of POS servers / environment </li><li>Administer implementation, monitoring and maintenance of database performance scripts </li><li>Develop and update source-code behind integrations to support real time (and file based) data exports and imports in and out of Point-Of-Sale systems </li><li>Lead analysis, design and implementation strategies for Point-Of-Sale systems impacted by the SAP NEO migration </li><li>Collaborate with the Integration Lead to design and validate new API-based integration approaches, and to ensure data consistency and accuracy in new workstreams. </li><li>Follow Project or Product Management methodology managing tasks and activities within the team displaying flexibility with either Agile, Waterfall methodologies or a hybrid, including shift to Product Oriented Development </li><li>Assist with migration and decommission legacy POS Application servers </li><li>Interpret operational needs and resolve or escalate complications in a timely manner </li><li>Lead efforts in adhering to internal application change policies and system refreshes </li><li>Collaborate with Retail Infrastructure and various support teams on any POS related system or application upgrades, sizing of the environments (both on-Premises and Azure) or evaluation of new technologies </li></ul> <p>Key Professional Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Strong organizational, analytical, process oriented and creative problem-solving skills </li><li>Extensive experience troubleshooting, collaborating and sharing knowledge with peers </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Ability to communicate with internal and external IT partners to develop quality solutions </li><li>Ability to create both high-level and extensively detailed project status reports </li></ul> <p>As an integral part of our culture at L'Oréal, wellness is at our core.
