<p>HBO TECHNICIAN # JOB SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: #Performs hyperbaric oxygen therapy on approved patients. #Apply technical and operational knowledge to support the operation, maintenance and safety of a multi-place hyperbaric (HBO) chamber and other hyperbaric support systems, participating in patient care and assisting with all aspects of the HBO/Wound Care Center. # JOB REQUIREMENTS: # EDUCATION:# Graduation from armed services or Civilian Diving School.# Qualified by education, training or experience to work with the adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric patient as specialty assignment dictates. # EXPERIENCE:# Medical Care Technician with hospital experience preferred. Must successfully complete in-house technician program.# Demonstrates ability to operate chamber with 12 patients and staff during a two-hour therapy and apply all safety precautions and operational emergency procedures.# Effective verbal and written communication skills required. Demonstrates a willingness and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
