<p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>Position open for an outstanding educator, who is excited to work in a diverse educational environment, willing to contribute to student learning, growth, and advancement, and can look beyond the walls of a classroom and demonstrate global competence and expand the impact of student's work to their families and our community. </li><li>Data collection and progress monitoring must occur to ensure success of reading skills. </li><li>Works closely with interventionists on data tracking. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Team player and collaborator, willing to do what is best for students, flexible, good communication skills, in-depth knowledge of Indiana Academic Standards, must maintain a growth mindset, serves as a positive role model, holding themselves accountable for learner outcomes and advocates for their students, and must facilitate differentiated learning to reach their students at their individual levels. </li><li>Must have a firm knowledgeable in the Science of Reading and the Indiana State Academic Standards. </li><li></li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>BA, BS, or MS in elementary education, holds a current Indiana teaching license or has applied for one </li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of current instructional strategies appropriate for students of third grade </li><li>Bi-lingual preferred </li><li>Upon offer, applicant must complete and clear a drug screen and expanded criminal history background check for school personnel as required by IN state law </li><li>Contract includes a comprehensive benefit package with health insurance (three plans options and LCSC Wellness Clinic), long-term disability & life insurance policies.
