<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Facilitates early detection, prompt referral and early habilitation of infants with hearing loss.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>Conducts newborn hearing screenings per established protocols under the direction of a supervising Audiologist</p> </li><li> <p>Operates OAE and other designated equipment to conduct hearing screening on neonates and pediatric patients.</p> </li><li> <p>Completes required documentation, parent education, and follow up, including referrals and tracking</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <ul> <li> <p>Communication</p> </li><li> <p>Process management</p> </li><li> <p>Attention to detail</p> </li><li> <p>Time management</p> </li><li> <p>Accountability</p> </li><li> <p>Dependability</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>One year of work experience in a health-related field or early childhood development preferred </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs. </li><li>Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately. </li><li>Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.
