<p>BACKGROUND:</p> <p>DWK Life Sciences LLC (DWK) was created as a result of the merger of three industry leaders and provides the world's laboratories and production environments with the most comprehensive range of labware for scientific research and technical applications, as well as solutions for storage and packaging. We manufacture a full range of precision glassware and specialty products for life sciences. We also offer products and services (vials, ampules, stoppers, septa, seals, caps, bottles, tubes, flasks, and value-added services) to customers seeking packaging solutions.</p> <p>Company revenue is generated through four primary channels: Global distributors, National distributors, Direct field selling efforts, and inside/telephone sales selling efforts.</p> <p>DWK supports four primary market segments: Life Science Research, Life Science Production & Packaging, Industrial & Applied Science, and Clinical - Healthcare.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>Hands-on responsibility for packing all rubber components, manufacturing, and assembled products; managing a room or area of qualified rubber inspectors. To pack and inspect in accordance with established standards and customer requirements per pack specs.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the room in all inspection of rubber parts to assign jobs/duties as needed. </li><li>Perform packing requirements of completed product in accordance with company quality standards and production guidelines utilizing packing specs. </li><li>Move finished products between stations to prepare for shipping and visually inspect all good parts as they're being completed. </li><li>Complete all paperwork of finished products for shipment in accordance with company procedures. </li><li>Work closely with quality and report problems or discrepancies to management in a timely manner. </li><li>Keep all inventory labeled and properly stored. </li><li>Notify management of injuries or related occurrences. </li><li>Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with safety and training guidelines </li><li>Required to wear proper gowning for specific areas </li><li>Maintain and organized work area and utilize good housekeeping and EHS requirements </li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Oral Communication Skills and ability to follow instructions. </li><li>Written Communication Skills (English) </li><li>Basic Math Skills </li><li>Organization </li><li>Reading Skills </li><li>Time Management </li><li>20/20 Vision or Corrected Vision </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT / CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <p>Work may take place in an office, warehouse or manufacturing environment. Must have the ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Lift up to 40 pounds. Employee may be required to work weekends, holidays and be on-call on occasion. The employee may encounter controlled air conditions with frequent air changes, environmental exposure.
