<p>Head Women's Basketball Coach</p> <p>Coker University - Hartsville, South Carolina</p> <p>Coker University invites applications for the position of Head Women's Basketball Coach. This is a full-time, 12-month position responsible for leading and managing all aspects of a successful NCAA Division II women's basketball program.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Head Women's Basketball Coach will provide leadership, organization, and strategic direction for all phases of the women's basketball program. The successful candidate will foster a culture of competitive excellence, academic achievement, community engagement, and personal development.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Plan, organize, and direct all aspects of the women's basketball program </li><li>Recruit, evaluate, and retain qualified student-athletes who align with the University's mission </li><li>Develop and implement effective practice plans, game strategies, and player development programs </li><li>Monitor academic progress and promote student-athlete success and retention </li><li>Manage program budget, scheduling, travel, and equipment </li><li>Hire, supervise, and mentor assistant coaches </li><li>Ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations </li><li>Engage in fundraising, alumni relations, and community outreach initiatives </li><li>Promote a positive team culture emphasizing accountability, discipline, and sportsmanship </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred </li><li>Previous successful collegiate coaching experience required; head coaching experience preferred </li><li>Demonstrated success in recruiting and player development </li><li>Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills </li><li>Commitment to compliance and integrity within NCAA Division II rules </li><li>Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required. </li></ul> <p>Application Process</p> <p>Interested candidates should apply through the Coker University employment website.</p> <p>University Standard Service and Excellence Expectations</p> <p>Coker's standards of service and excellence to the campus and community is an institutional priority for the university.
