<p>Description</p> <p>The Waldinger Corporation has an opportunity for a qualified Construction Estimator in our Des Moines Office.</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Conducts high-level estimation and leads bidding process for large and/or complex construction projects.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Estimating: Prepares and assembles estimates within the department. Delegates estimating duties to engineers as required to maintain the bid schedule. </li><li>Database Management: Maintains database of project history and results. Ensures accuracy and integrity of system software, providing all users with updated information. </li><li>Procedures: Develops conceptual plan and specification bid procedures and standards to improve consistency and efficiency of the estimating process. </li><li>Client Bid Management: Develops successful client relationships, marketing company products and services.
