We assist the UWM campus community through collaborative partnerships designed to enhance the university's academic and community service mission and focus on our student's wellbeing as an essential component to student success.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Patient Support Services Supervisor in the Student Health and Wellness Center (SHAW) oversees front desk operations, ensuring efficient patient registration, scheduling, payment processing, and health information management. This role supervises front desk staff, manages daily operations, and ensures exceptional customer service delivery to all patients accessing SHAW services.</p> <p>Please note, at this time, the position is open only to current UW Milwaukee employees.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree or higher (Bachelor's, Master's, etc) in a medical, hospitality or business-related field of study </li><li>Experience working in a medical office or health administration setting </li><li>Experience in cash handling and financial transaction management </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience working in a university student health center </li><li>Experience providing staff training and/or supervision in a healthcare setting </li><li>Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating policies and procedures for a high-traffic, customer-facing business unit </li><li>Demonstrated experience leveraging an electronic health record (EHR) system to create routine and ad hoc reports </li></ul> <p>Target Salary Range $25.75 - $29.11/hour (Equivalent to $53,560 - $60,550 in annual earnings) Benefits and Total Rewards</p> <p>As part of UWM's commitment to supporting the success of our team members through positive experiences, employees are provided with Benefits to Benefit You and Your Life.
