<p>PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>New Product Development:</p> </li><li> <p>Support design and development of instrumentation and control products under guidance from senior engineers.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in creating analog/digital circuits and PCB layouts using tools such as Altium or Eagle.</p> </li><li> <p>Help develop and test embedded firmware for microcontrollers in C/C++.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in prototyping and validation of hardware designs.</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to compliance and functional testing (EMI/EMC, vibration, shock, and environmental).</p> </li><li> <p>Sustaining Engineering:</p> </li><li> <p>Provide technical support for production and troubleshooting activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in implementing engineering changes and cost-reduction initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Help address customer quality issues by gathering data and supporting corrective actions.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaboration</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with cross-functional teams and learn to communicate effectively with vendors and certification agencies.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in team meetings and contribute to project documentation.</p> </li></ul> <p>CRITICAL FACTORS FOR SUCCESS</p> <ul> <li>Basic knowledge of analog and digital circuit design. </li><li>Familiarity with PCB design tools (Altium, Eagle, or similar). </li><li>Understanding of embedded C programming and microcontroller concepts. </li><li>Willingness to learn compliance standards and testing procedures. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. </li></ul> <p>PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>BS in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent). </li><li>Internship or academic project experience in electronics or embedded systems preferred. </li><li>Exposure to microcontroller-based designs and basic communication protocols (I²C, SPI, UART). </li><li>Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and power supplies. </li><li>Strong teamwork and communication skills. </li><li>Strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced engineering environment. </li></ul> <p>Salary range: $85,000 to $95,000 with 5% bonus potential.</p> <p>This description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work being performed by employees within this classification.
