You will have the opportunity to develop civil/highway design plans, profiles, sections, and details using engineering software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation. In this role, you will prepare technical reports, cost estimates, specifications, and other contract documents, supporting multi-disciplinary design development teams in project execution.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform roadway and highway design, grading and drainage, utilities, and green infrastructure tasks. </li><li>Develop civil/highway design plans, profiles, sections, and details using AutoCAD and MicroStation. </li><li>Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, specifications, and other contract documents. </li><li>Support multi-disciplinary design development teams in project execution. </li><li>Provide support for other engineering activities as required. </li><li>Perform additional responsibilities as appropriate for the position. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering </li><li>3 -4+ years of experience with NYCDOT and NYCDDC civil/highway projects </li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation </li><li>Experience with inRoads and Openroads </li><li>EIT certification </li><li>Strong skills in design, drainage, and grading </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Professional engineer certification </li><li>Design experience for civil/highway projects </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The office is located in the Financial District (Fidi). Initially, the position requires 5 days in the office during onboarding, with the option to switch to a hybrid schedule of either 4 days in the office and 1 day remote or 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, depending on managerial and candidate preference. The role offers the opportunity to design streets, highways, interchanges, railroad sites, and other New York infrastructure projects.</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr.</p> <p>Competitive salary and benefits package.
